In my first screenwriting class last semester, my professor went over the history of dramatic writing from the beggining of time to the present. It was a little disconcerting to see my undergraduate degree flash before my eyes in just under three hours. This is what the board looked like at the end of the lecture. See...it's all VERY clear!

I’m thoroughly confused !
Why does the "face of disbelief" look like some sort of stoned out schnauzer without ears? And the characters, whatever they are, on the opposite corner look like really sad and/or tired ghost...rocks?
Good thing you're clever!
