New Graffiti

This new graffiti showed up on the front door to our building. Sometimes when the sun shines through just right, it casts its melancholy shadow across the wall of the entryway.

New Penpals!

My friend Josh decided to become penpals with some of the proponents of proposition 8.
Figuring that if they actually got to know us, they might not hate us so much.

Progressive Patriotism

This is what the L train looked like after the election.

I have never seen hipsters so happy. They were
cheering and chanting and talking to total strangers.

New Household Mandate

We are sick and tired of cleaning up pet hair. We have taken drastic measures to reduce the impact of cat hair on our furniture.
Henceforth all cats will be required to wear a hair net.

"subway paintings"

Can't get enough of these posterless poster spots where ads have been put up, ripped down, painted over, and over and over...

Cinematography Class

A "creepy" scene we shot in cinematography class where Han stabbed Katy with a telescopic chopstick. Goodtimes!

My phone cam broke.

Well not the camera, just the button that gives me access to the camera function. Stoopid stoopid button! I haven't checked, but I'm assuming they will tell me that it will be cheaper to get a new phone, than to fix the button.
So until then, I'll just keep posting from the backlog of the tons of photos I took when my camera worked, but i was too busy to post.

Everything you wanted to know about Dramatic Writing...

In my first screenwriting class last semester, my professor went over the history of dramatic writing from the beggining of time to the present. It was a little disconcerting to see my undergraduate degree flash before my eyes in just under three hours. This is what the board looked like at the end of the lecture. See...it's all VERY clear!

Michael Griffen

My very dear friend, collaborator and the most inspiring person I know, passed away in January. I've had a really hard time figuring out how to deal with this loss. Moping around, though somewhat inevitable, doesn't seem an appropriate way to remember such a vibrant spirit. I would really like to do something to celebrate his amazing life. As spring approaches, I'm thinking about some sort of outdoor musical, artistic, ecstatic revelry. If you know anyone in the New York area that might want to join me, please send them my way.
